He may have been the runner-up this year as PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive – for the second year in a row – but Patrick Dempsey has one field all to himself: he's the new face of Versace for the fashion-design company's spring/summer line for men.

Celebrated fashion photographer Mario Testino shot the ad campaign with the Grey's Anatomy McDreamy, 41, last month, reports Access Hollywood.

"It was so lovely to work with Donatella Versace, she is an iconic and inspirational woman and a wonderful person, not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Mario Testino too, one of the world's finest photographers," Dempsey said in a statement.

Said Versace of her new model: "I'm a big fan. So it was a great experience working with him because he is such a talented actor."

The ads will begin appearing in February, and StyleWatch readers, who got a heads-up last month, already marked their calendars.

Aniston sits atop Forbes.com's first-ever analysis of top-selling famous faces, based on several factors, including newsstand sales of celebrity weeklies People, Us Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Life & Style, OK! and Star over a six-month period ending June 30, as supplied by the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

The 38-year-old actress graced six covers — appearing on every magazine except In Touch Weekly at least once during the time period — with her face collectively selling more than 5 million copies, the Web site said Tuesday.

Aniston's ex-husband, Brad Pitt, takes second place on the list, followed by Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Valerie Bertinelli and Kelly Ripa.

Britney Spears isn't on the list even though the 25-year-old pop star snagged 18 single covers during the six-month period. Spears' face fails when it comes to sales, Forbes.com said, and she is only slightly more likable than Paris Hilton.

Consumers have grown tired of Spears' consistently bad behavior, In Touch Weekly Editor in Chief Richard Spencer is quoted as saying.

Event focuses on local Brazilian talent

Latin America's largest film fest unspools its ninth edition Sept. 20-Oct. 4, with a country focus on China.

The main platform for Brazilian premieres, the Rio Intl. Film Fest opens with the world bow of Jose Padilha's "Elite Squad," which was produced by local Zazen Producoes, Universal Brasil, the Weinstein Co. and Costantini Films.

"Elite Squad" will be the first of about 300 pics to be screened, with fest programming exec director Ilda Santiago expecting to sell more than 250,000 tickets.

The Premiere Brasil slots some 37 features, with 20 having premieres in the fest, says Santiago, including Lucia Murat's "Mare, nossa historia de amor" and Murilo Salles' "Nome Proprio" competing for the Redeemer Prize, named after the famous Christ the Redeemer statue on top of Corcovado Mountain, a symbol of the city. But the true prize for filmmakers is the opportunity to screen their pics to about 250 international showbiz guests in addition to local film industry toppers.

"Premiere Brasil has gained importance in the past few years. We managed to create a local film highlight within an international festival," says Santiago, and he quickly adds that many international producers, fest programmers and sales agents attend the fest to have a chance to see the best of Brazil's annual production in one site.

Focus China will feature the screening of 12 recent pics and eight classics from the 1930s and 1940s. The program will open with "The Knot" by helmer Yin Li, who will be in Rio. Helmer Jia Zhang-ke will also attend the fest to present his pic "Useless." Zhang Yimou's "Curse of the Golden Flower," Lichuan Yin's "The Park" and Yang Zhang's "Getting Home" are some of the other recent Chinese pics in the fest. A 20-person Chinese delegation -- featuring execs and talent -- is expected to attend.

"China is a key partner for Brazil," says Santiago. "There are already two Brazil/China co-productions on course. Our goal is to allow Brazilian moviegoers to know more about Chinese films and to foster international co-productions."

Industry types can also get away to RioMarket, with 200 participants gathered in a large tent on Copacabana beach. RioMarket includes seminars, one-on-one meetings and screenings of local and foreign pics.

The beach mart has positioned itself as a market for all media windows, including video-on-demand, mobile phones and IPTV. Norm Bolen, Alliance Atlantis' exec VP of content, and Rob Williams, acquisition exec at Red Envelope, are some of the new media speakers skedded for RioMarket.

"RioMarket positioned itself in the vanguard of world markets, as we offer business opportunities for all windows," says RioMarket exec director Walkiria Barbosa.

I HONESTLY THINK THAT PEOPLE SHOULD JUST LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!! She has her problems but who don't!?! We ALL have problems so before people go pointing they're fingers at her for all of her mistakes,make sure you're hands are clean first!
I think if she just got away from all of this negative press and rude people, she'd be able to heal herself and take better care of her children. She has every right to be upset, she's going through her 2nd divorce, she's a single mother of two, her career is on hold, she's dealing with so much and I honestly think people just need to leave her the heck alone and let her be herself.

Fergie – no stranger to tabloid attention – says she can relate to what Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are going through.

And what the 20-something stars need, says the 32-year-old Black Eye Peas singer, is some breathing room so they can help themselves.

"They're young," Fergie (real name: Stacy Ferguson) said at a Conde Nast Fashion Rocks event in New York. "I was young when I went through my stuff. Leave them alone. If they want to get better, they're going to get better on their own."

Spears, 25, has returned to Los Angeles to rejoin her sons, Jayden, Sean Preston, who are respectively turning 1 and 2 this week, after a disappointing comeback performance Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas. Earlier this year, she spent a month in rehab.

Lohan, 21, is in her third rehab program, this one in Utah, following her DUI arrest last month, for which she was sentenced to a day in jail. In a statement, she said she was addicted to alcohol and drugs and had relapsed.

Fergie, whose own time in rehab was for a crystal meth addiction, says that Spears and Lohan should ignore the media attention and focus on their problems.

"If somebody is going to change, they have to want to do it themselves," she says. "I think it is really unfair to them when they are trying to get help. We're all watching as a nation and commenting day by day on their rehabilitation. It's not fair. You're supposed to have a sanctuary, a place where you can go and not be pressured every day."

I absolutely cannot miss any episode of King of the Hill. This is one of the funniest, real shows out there.Is my absolute favorite show! Repeats come on several times a weekday on a few different networks, and I never miss an episode. I love the soundbytes at the end of the show but more than anything I love the sarcastic humor in it.I pray King lasts at least as long as The Simpsons.
After watching it you almost forget it is a cartoon. Take a chance, on something funny and watch King of the Hill I tell you what!! Yep!!

American Idol producer/judge Simon Cowell has told a British newspaper that Britney Spears should never have been allowed to appear on the MTV Video Music Awards. "I'd have taken one look at her in rehearsals, and I wouldn't have allowed her on stage," Cowell told the London Sun. Indeed, he said, if she had been auditioning for one of his talent shows, "I wouldn't have put her through to the next round." Cowell said that Spears' performance was so inept "that she could have killed her career.

I have been a huge fan of Marc Jacobs work! His Spring 2007 collection is just as impressive as anything he has previously designed.
Thankfully, he has also introduced a new collection of accessories! Hes handbags are awesome!! and I sooo love Marc Jacobs shoes!

NEW YORK, September 10, 2007 – At 11 p.m., precisely two hours after his official starting time, Marc Jacobs surprised his audience by running out onto his Stefan Beckman-designed set for a quick bow. Next came the music, Ravel's Boléro, and out filed the models in finale formation. Then here was the first girl (or rather the last, because by now it was clear this extraordinary show was unspooling backward, starting with look 56 and running down to one). She wore a "silly-string guipure gown," her satin under-things peeking out and her heels perched on top of her "too-small pumps." Behind her, an image of the model in nothing but the bra and panties she wore underneath her outfit was projected on two large screens.

Jacobs collaborated with the video artist Charles Atlas to create the film that played simultaneously with the show. They shot the piece Sunday evening, and Atlas spent the whole night in the editing booth finishing it. As for the clothes and accessories, they were just as off-kilter and knock-your-socks-off as the production, with a bonkers surrealist streak. Trompe l'oeil underwear decorated georgette slipdresses, the heels of pumps protruded not from the heel at all but from the ball of the foot, and three-dimensional quilted leather bags were grafted onto square totes. Transparency was a key theme, too: Cashmere sweaters were inset with sheer panels at the waist, and reconstructed black bugle-bead evening dresses came suspended from their nude linings. Gimmicky? You bet. But also fascinating. If you want normal or tame, you're going to have to look on a different runway. Even the suits came with hip-high slits—though, this being Jacobs, the effect was just as often gawky and awkward as it was provocative.

So what was it all about? With most of the models in varying stages of dishabille, Jacobs appeared to be saying something conceptual about the process of getting dressed—or getting undressed—but he was typically vague backstage. "It's cartoon versions of all the women I know—conservative types, vamps, everybody," he allowed. From the looks of two number-emblazoned team-jersey T-shirt dresses that appeared on his runway, there are footballers' wives in the designer's inner circle along with all of those rockers and artists. One thing's for certain: He's moved on from last season's bourgeois austerity. This sublime performance was about sex, which is one of the reasons why we couldn't look away.
